About Us

Convict Interactive is an independent game development studio from Wollongong, Australia.

We started out after winning the Brisbane 48 hour Game Making Competition in 2009 where we discovered that we had the potential to make great games. So during the summer of 2009/2010 and then around our University schedule, Convict Interactive formed and began working on Planetarians. Upon finishing our studies in 2011, the company was officially formed and we began work on expanding our portfolio with our Convict Minigames for XBLIG.

Near the end of 2011, we were accepted to be a part of Microsoft’s BizSpark Program where they provided us with the tools we needed to continue working on great games.

At the start of 2012, we were accepted into StartPad, an accelerator program run by the Entrepreneurs Club at the University of Wollongong.

Since then, we’ve been working on a PC punishment platformer, Triangle Man, with a core team of 5 developers.
